On Wednesday December 17th, 2014, Sony Pictures of America has cancelled the release of their latest comedy,
The Interview, with no plans to release it in any format due to terrorist threats. Those threats indicated that if the movie was released, then violence and attacks equivalent of 9/11 would happen in movie theatres throughout the United States. It has only recently come to light that these threats and the preceding hacks that led to this decision, can be attributed to the North Korean government. There are no plans to release this movie as of right now, Wednesday December 17th, 2014.
